I have become much better able to deal with stressful situations since studying yoga because the practice emphasizes the importance of breathing and being aware of your body's responses to discomfort. Instead of tensing up, I have learned to relax my muscles and breathe through the sensation. I have been able to transfer this concept to daily life by taking that extra millisecond before I respond to difficult situations to evaluate what is really going on, and act instead of react. I feel like my level of self awareness about physical responses to stress has also increased. I can feel my neck muscles tense up, then immediately be aware of it and relax them. Your studio is so incredibly well organized and run, and all the classes are so carefully planned that everyone needs to know about it. You are amazing, and I still can't believe you settled here in our little town. Every time I jump in my car and drive two minutes to such great classes I am amazed at my luck. I am smart enough to know that teachers of your caliber are rare, especially here in Utah. Thanks for all you do You're wonderful!
