Dominique Watts
Teacher
Dominique has been teaching yoga since 2010 and has her E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance teaching certification through the University of Utah and Prana Yoga studio. Dominique has found yoga to be a healthy approach to life’s challenges and an opportunity to connect with others in the community. Her goal as a teacher is to share yoga with students of all backgrounds, ages, sizes, and abilities. While building strength, flexibility and mental clarity, you'll get to laugh and play a little, and leave with a takeaway message to ponder off the mat. My personal benefits: Yoga has helped me find adaptability, in not just my body, but my mind also. I have become less rigid mentally and physically. It forces me to deal with challenges head on, in the moment, instead of ruminating for a long time, or engaging in escapist behaviors such as eating sweets or distracting myself with entertainment. It gives permission for some "me" time to sort things out. What can yoga do for you?
