Community Building / Indigenous People
Learn about the original inhabitants of Utah. their food, clothes, and traditions. Make a headband, teepee, and eco- dream catcher. Campers will strengthen a connection to themselves and other.
In Fall the leaves are falling off the trees. What things in our life can we let go of that are no longer serving us or moving us forward? An old pair of shoes, memories, clothes, etc.
Learn the Gift of Listening and what gets in the way of listening.
June 15 - 19 / July 13 - 17
Earth and Garden Explorers Name your favorite tree in the park, and tree bark rubbings. Identify wild flowers on a nature hike. Learn how to read clouds, native plants and their purpose. Keep a wonder bowl, collect one thing each day at camp. An acorn, rock etc. Build a birdhouse and identify birds in your tree.
Notice when you use the words, “I am not very good at,”. “it’s too hard,”. Shift your language to, “ I am a beginner at….”
June 22 - 26 / July 20 - 24
Mountain Adventure
Identify animal tracks and scat. Make an animal track paperweight. Build a boat to race down the canal. Learn natural direction coders and how to mark trails and leave signs.
'Learn the bowing exercise, each day bow to each person or situation exactly as he / she / is. What are your dreams, vision for your life, your family, and community?

Water Wonders
Learn about the importance of water in our environment. What animals live in streams, rivers, and the Great Salt Lake. How does water or lack of water create the world we live in?
Learn to shift from a stronger sense of ME to a stronger sense of WE.
